Dear Parents and Students,
All 6th grade band students are invited and highly encouraged to participate in our first annual 6th Grade Band Carnival! This is a great opportunity for your student to grow as an individual musician as they receive world-class instruction from masters and specialists of each instrument. The carnival is geared to give each student a jump-start to success on their instruments and to provide, you, their parents with valuable insight to help their students grow as musicians.
The Carnival will take place at Barber Middle School in conjunction with the Autrey Middle School Band Program on October 18th from 9:00am-2:00pm. The carnival includes a t-shirt, performance, clinics with master clinicians, pizza and bouncy houses during lunch, followed by a recital for parents. The cost is $10 per student. 1:00pm-1:30pm: Review and Transition to Stage
1:30pm-2:00pm: Performance for Family & Friends
